Darryl W. Queen

Senior Staff Attorney, Superior Court Division

Background:

I am writing this only because someone thought it would be in the firm’s best interest for me to do so. I was born and raised in a quiet hamlet mid-way between Annapolis and Baltimore, Maryland by two loving middle class parents that refused to allow me to follow my natural instincts and settle into a life of middlingness. I received my undergraduate bachelor of arts degree in history and economics in 1991 from the University of Maryland. In 1994, I received my juris doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law. In 1995, I was sworn in as a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Finally, in 2000, I joined the staff at the Fulton County Conflict Defender, Inc.

Current Assignment: I am presently assigned to the courtrooms of the Honorable Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane and the Honorable Judge Constance C. Russell.

Professional Associations:

Personal Interests:

Family, church, pets, music, and protecting those accused from the evil government oppressors.

Quote:

“Please don’t tell my family I’m a lawyer. They think I play piano at the local bordello.”
